I’m Ben, a senior marketer and brand strategist with 15+ years of experience growing brands across Australia, Asia and Europe.
Most recently, I worked as Head of Brand Strategy at Twitter, leading a body of work to reposition the platform and drive differentiated advertising across Australia and New Zealand.
Before that, I spent five years working for LEGO at their global headquarters, leading the brand’s biggest global advertising campaigns. We built a life-size, drivable Bugatti Chiron made out of LEGO bricks. Worked with NASA on a space campaign that inspired millions of children to want to become astronauts again. And then we launched Rebuild the World, the first LEGO brand campaign in fifty years.
My work is insight-driven and audience-led, with a bias towards purpose, utilitarianism and ideas that get the world talking. Having lived and worked in several countries, I bring a global, culturally-nuanced perspective to my work and I thrive in workplaces and teams that are dynamic and diverse.
I’m currently working on freelance strategy and consulting projects in Australia and open to new briefs.
